Children Nurse to Primary School Teacher

Hi!
I've got a PGCE interview coming up and want to see if anyone else has become a teacher after a doing nursing?

I used to be a primary school teacher. It depends how many hours you are prepared to work. As a teacher, prepare to work 5 x 13 hours on weekdays and spend Sunday evenings planning. There are the holidays, but other than that it’s not a family-friendly profession.
