Should I take the job?

I currently work as reception/basic admin for a firm. It's a small company and I love everyone there and it's a very casual and fun environment, lots of social events etc.
But I hate being on the front desk and want to move to more higher level admin work but I'm not being given the opportunity.
I feel like they've maybe lost faith in my abilities and now I have lost my confidence.
Im paid pretty well for my role and will move to full time soon.

I've recently had an interview for another organisation. I have been doing some volunteer work there but only recently started.
The role would be entirely WFH but is only 3 days per week. The pay rate is better and will only increase over time but there's no scope to increase hours at all.
It would be a harder role, more stressful than anything I'm doing now but feel I want a change.

We can't afford to take the small pay cut and I would need to pick up one other day minimum in either the same organisation but different department or somewhere else.
I'm really not sure what to do?
WFH and autonomy over my own work day sounds like a dream but sometimes I do want (and think I'd miss) that face to face social interaction.

I made up my mind last year though and gave myself a deadline to move on from my current role.
Which job would you suggest?
Commute is not currently an issue for work so that's not a factor.

Are you good at front desk? I swear I feel like the better you are at your job the more they want to keep you there instead of promoting you, it’s annoying.

If you’re sure you can pick up an extra day elsewhere I would move purely for the lack of growth opportunities.

Hopeful bump

Thanks @Aftergloww I am good but I don't think that's the reason. The other admin person gatekeeps a lot of work and I've expressed my wishes to learn more and it doesn't happen. So I've become quite complacent and given up in a sense (which is not like me)

This won’t be the only other job available. Maybe look for something else?

If you like admin a lot of insurance companies pay more with better benefits. Have a look at your local offices.

@Thisisntme1 if you’re able to make it work I would just leave then. They’ll never change. I have somewhat similar issues at work and I’ve been there for ages - it doesn’t get better with gatekeepers.
