I started a new job 2mos ago and I’m really not sure it’s for me. Lots of other issues with it but I like the organisation overall. Another job has come up in another department which looks really interesting and relevant to my previous experience. Would it be bad form to apply for that role after only being in post for 2 months?
My previous experience is mostly blocks of 2-3 years in roles, and staying with one company for 7 years, so I’m not flighty in general. I just feel that this current role isn’t right and I’m not sure I’d pass my probation as my manager has dropped hints that I’m not what he’s looking for in the role
