Leadership coaching

I work for a small non profit and have been offered pro bono leadership coaching around Laloux and spiral dynamics.

The process would invovle completing around 30 sentence starters, eg. A leader ..... My responses would be sent to be analysed, I'd essentially be scores against the leadership spiral dynamic, and would have a one hour coaching session to chat through the findings and identify areas for development.

I am not sure I want to do this. I've read the guide to Laloux and looked into spiral dynamics. I don't like the linear aspects, and the associations of superiority. I also think it's not hugely inclusive from a socio-economic viewpoint, and the traits most developed by those from middle/upper class backgrounds are the traits most valued and amplified. It doesn't seem value different life experiences or starting points.

I also know myself that I'm unlikely to have an open, meaningful conversation with someone I've just met.

This has been on my mind - before sharing my thoughts with work I'm looking to sense check them a bit here. Have I totally misunderstood? Has anyone done the spiral dynamics process, I'd love to hear some examples of the sentences
