I have worked for the same company for 14 years. Yesterday they announced that they were increasing maternity leave on full pay from 16 to 26 weeks but this only starts for people starting maternity from 11th March.
Whilst it's great it means I am likely going to miss out and surely is a bit dangerous as i could force people to try and hang on and potentially go against medical advice say if earlier intervention is needed. It's a hard pill to swallow losing nearly 3 months pay.
