Newbie here!
I think I'm having a midlife crisis... Or maybe an identity crisis. DS are 3 and 5 yo and I'm currently working three days a week in an office.
I'd really like to change job, ideally not completely office based, and get some satisfaction from work... But I have no idea what to look for. Any suggestions welcome 🤗
I'm generally struggling to feel like I'm doing anything to make me feel good about myself or where I make a difference..just looking for some fulfillment (other than being a mother).
Thanks

Your job has probably served a good purpose while your children are small. Can you afford to study or do you have to work? You could start by looking at all the places you'd like to work at in your area, and go from there. Or simply apply for as many jobs as possible and see what offers you get? Sometimes it's not the job but the people you work with that make it good. I wouldn't recommend investing a lot in a new career if the chance of getting a job at the end is not high. Or it will require working for yourself, unless that is ultimately what you want. I ended up working for myself, but I missed the camaraderie of the workplace (but not the toxic one I left to go it alone!). Whatever you decide, there is a point at which you have to take a leap of faith. Be prepared to do that!
