How to stop yourself going crazy after interviews?

I was made redundant last year and am currently interviewing. After each interview, I find myself replaying every answer I've given and worrying contstantly.

I've just come out of one now and I'm feeling so anxious and wired! There's more riding on this next job than in the past so that isn't helping.

Any tips and thoughts welcome.

Do something physical to release the stress.
Start applying for another similar job.
Make notes on how you might answer similar questions more smoothly next time, or how you might use a second interview if you get one to elaborate or improve on any answers that you think are important.

When I really want a job, I often send a brief email after the interview, saying that I am genuinely excited by this role and this company so it was a pleasure to get the opportunity to meet with them. Just that, no pressure on them for a second interview or 'when will I hear'. I have been told a couple of times that those brief notes of thanks made an impact.

Thank you so much. Yes I do send notes and will get onto that when I get back.

Doing something physical is probably the biggest. Good idea. I guess there's a lot of adrenaline running around my body!
