Second interview tips

Have one coming up. First one covered everything a normal interview would. They've asked me to share some work.

What do you think I might expect question wise in a second interview?

I've given second interviews myself and struggled to come up with new questions.

A different team member will also be there so will think about what they want to know.

I’d expect you to have a more in depth knowledge of the company, its products, structure, key markets, customers etc all of which should be in its website or a quick Google. I’m amazed the number of people who come for interview and know next to nothing about us. Conversely I was impressed aka flattered when one candidate quoted an article I’d written some years earlier.

Thanks, I did a lot of that for the first one, but I will maybe have a think about potential 'clients'.

Was also thinking review first interview and any areas where I felt I could have been stronger, think about what they told me about them and any responses I have to that, any questions I have for them. They wanted to see my work so prepare to discuss that.
