Leaving nursing completely

Hi
Anyone left nursing completely and gone into a different career? As in not anything related to health care etc. I've seen lots of posts about leaving nursing but advice to look for other roles within nursing or teaching nursing etc, however this isn't really for me as i have been on the ward, in community, practice nursing and also in a health visiting team over the years! 🙂 just finding it difficult to get jobs in other roles.
Thanks!

I know a couple of people who left nursing and became nannies.

I run an organisation that trains people to become celebrants (for weddings, funerals and baby namings) we have lots of nurses who've made the switch - lots of transferable skills - empathy, working with people in heightened states of emotion etc It's a self-employed role, so you need to build your business, but then you're your own boss and can work around kids, life and other committments. www.matchanddispatch.com
