I had an interview today for a job that I really hope to get. I haven’t had an interview for several years and was quite nervous but had done a lot of planning and was prepared for lots of questions.
My interview was at 3.50 and I arrived 10 mins early and was quite surprised when someone else came in and said they had an interview at 4pm.. The interview itself was fine, I was just asked to say a few things about myself and why I was interested in the role but no questions about a time I’d experienced XYZ etc which is what I had been expecting?
I feel it went well, I asked questions and they told me I would hear back next week. Is it normal to only have a 10 min allocated slot for an interview? Had I not heard the other lady say she had a scheduled interview 10 mins after mine I would be assuming the worst and that they’d just cut my interview short and not interested.
