Mid management role could be replaced

I'm currently in a mid-management role in UK. Recently my company is expanding in India. I saw on the internal job site that my role is open in India. When I asked my manager, they said nothing to worry about. I am thinking to still look elsewhere and as it's start of the year and there are few relevant roles available. I also see I'm been giving other work for me and my team. It's not drying up. What does that mean? Any suggestions?

What does what mean?

It's unlikely to be helpful to speculate, your role could be made redundant any time regardless, so you need to have that in your mind in all your decisions.

Presumably you think that the company plans to offshore for and your team's roles - without knowing what you do, it's impossible to know if that's even possible let alone conclude that that's what's happening.

But presumably they need someone to do the equivalent of your role, in every country they operate in - or are you thinking that work should have come to you?
