Being forced to move dept

Hi all,

being forced to move dept in local authority as toxic manager dislikes me. Where do I stand on this, contract is with organisation only although I have been advised there should be specifics to say they can do this which there aren’t.

There isn't much information here to base any comments on. I assume this is part of a grievance from you as it would be unusual for an employer to simply decide to move you for this reason. I am not sure who told you that this can't be done. It can and often is. It may not be "fair" but it is seldom the case that a manager is moved from their position. Beyond that, it's not possible to comment on such sparse details.
