Anyones OH an Electrician? (employed)

My DH is an Electrician employed by a small company. He's not quite ready to go out on his own yet but the plan is there at some point.

If anyone is or has a OH who is employed in this industry - how much do they get paid an hour?

He thinks he has a right to ask for a significant pay rise as he hasn't had one in 2/3 years. However he has no idea what the going rate is. Most other sparkys he knows are self employed so it's not comparable.

Blimey that's a lot more than my DH is on. Where in the UK are you based?

My friend works as an electrician for a small private contractor. He's on £21.80 per hour. East Midlands area.

My son is looking for an electrician apprenticeship in Merseyside if any of you are close to here. He's wanted to do it since he was 2 and he'll be amazing at it 😀
