Not coming back with interview outcome in time frame

Ok Is it just me that gets a little annoyed when you go to an interview/assessment. They tell you that they will contact you regardless of outcome within a couple of days.

Had an assessment and interview on Thursday and said they would be in contact by Monday. Even just an email saying that they are taking a bit longer to evaluate the candidates etc.

I don’t want to contact them as it feels I’m pestering them. I did that once about 17 years ago and I was treated awfully

It's a widespread problem and is an indication that they treat people poorly and have poor processes. A standard "sorry but no thanks" email takes seconds to organise.

I see no reason why you can't email them and ask for feedback. It shows you are keen.
