Maternity leave/notice period?

I'm due back at work very soon for the NHS and I agreed to work the 3 months so I don't have to repay anything but the plan is to only do the 3 months and then leave. Does anyone know if I can hand in my notice during this 3 month period? Or do you have to work 3 months and then hand it in? I know I can look at the policy but just thought someone might know on here 😊

If you return to work, say on 1st February you can hand your notice in at any time (in writing/email) and state your last date of work will be 30th April 2025.

Don't forget you will have holiday leave to take ... book it as soon as possible.
