Hi!

I'm looking to move into a new SW role and wondered if any social workers in a child we care for team could tell me a bit about what the role entails/ a typical day?

Thanka v much in advance 😀

Have you ever done CWCF work before?
Your typical week will involve several visits, (visits are every 6 or 12 weeks), and meetings. You'll be responsible for arranging PEP meetings and CWCF review meetings. You'll attend school meetings, contact reviews, meetings with the foster carers and supervising social workers. You'll do life story work and support teenagers to develop independence skills. You'll do pathway plan assessments and reviews once they reach 16 years.

Thanks that's so helpful! Yes, done CWCF but from a frontline perspective. Thank you again.
