Anyone understand SSP and holiday pay?

Namechanged to protect other posts, but a regular on here.
Can anyone shed any light on why my workplace is paying me SSP plus holiday pay? Googling this it says the two can't be paid at the same time but on my current payslip, it clearly is.

Quick summary - have a medical problem which requires an operation so signed off long term sick. Have exhausted workplace sick pay so now on SSP only, as expected. However, I work in private education (pastoral support, not teaching) so my salary is pro rata, annualised to cover 34 weeks of the year (because of school holidays when we're not in). This includes the statutory amount of holiday pay but we're paid 12 months of the year.

Meanwhile I've handed in my notice as I want to concentrate on my health, but as it's education my 'leave' date isn't until end April. I have to produce sick notes until then (not a problem).
I should now be on SSP but in addition to this, I have £350 holiday pay added. Can't get hold of HR/payroll because they're all still on Christmas holidays so no explanation.
My SSP will run out end of February, what happens to this holiday pay element? Am I still accruing holiday while off sick and they're paying a 12th of it or something? I really have no idea, can anyone explain?

Not sure why you’ve been paid holiday pay but yes you accrue holiday pay while on sick leave
