Changing careers

Would like some honest feedback. I've decided to retrain. I've not been employed for a couple of years now due to mental health and bringing up my 21 month old dd. I have previous experience as a carer/support worker and love taking care of my own hair and making other people happy. Do I have any good transferable skills that I could take from caring to hairdressing? If not please can anyone make any other good career suggestions to me please. I can't really do shift work due to single parenting and child care

Thank you. I have also worked in customer service, so I've also got experience and feel confident with helping and talking to the general public. My mental health has been consistently fine for over a year now, so I'm definitely ready for a new challenge.

What about complimentary therapies such as massage, aromatherapy, acupressure etc? There's always something new to learn and new directions to go in; opportunities for self-employment and small / short term gigs such as half a day at a hospice or a day a month at a care home etc.
