Hello all,
I am currently working in a school as Lunch supervisor. But I have experience in admin and from a basic stem background.
I am very inclined to look for teaching assistant/admin/ Science Technician job at secondary schools.
I think I am informed about the teaching and admin side, but not in Science techinicians.
Baaically, I know that they are responsible for practical sessions in labs but my biggest issue is that I am a vegetarian and I wont be able to manage biology disection experiments. Wpuld this mean I will not suit ST jobs and just stick to assistnt/admin?

Thankyou all :)

Dissections these days are few and far between (in state secondaries). As long as you're not the sole technician, you'll be fine if a colleague can share that work.

There are some great school science technician groups on Facebook where people will gladly share experiences and advice.
