I have a situation at work where in a small team of 6, 2 people want a week off at the same time. It will also be at the busiest time of year and both would be sorely missed. How do you agree who gets the time off?

Who asked first? Or do you want neither off?

One was away when the other one requested it but I had said I wouldn’t approve any until I had next years diary to hand, which unfortunately happened at this time. I want to put fair rules in now moving forward…
