Undermining at job - leave?

My manager is constantly undermining me at work - lots of criticism, snapping, either micromanaging or too busy for me to take an issue to them. Without giving too much about my job away, the parameters they ask me to work to are different from everyone else.

I've only been at the job for 5 months. Would it look bad on my CV to just leave? I've been applying for jobs but haven't gotten the past few interviews as I don't think I'm coping that well.

Could you take a few days sick or just spend lunch breaks speaking to agencies and getting an idea if there’s much temp/interim work out there?
then you could move to that and get a breather/no CV gaps.

Also I might be wrong but I think if you generally have been at places a substantial time but happen to have one short job, it shouldn’t look unfavourably on you.

When I look at CVs it’s more if its a repeat pattern - 4 months here, 5 there etc

I had one short job (two jobs ago) which was a contract and then 2 years at my last job.
