Manager working style

I am managing a team of 10 who are been with the company for longer. There use to be another manager previously who wouldn't give much opportunities to the team. When I was been given the role I was asked by my manager that I have to delegate. I helped the team to lift each and every team member. Some knows basic excel and ppt. I created ppt and had them present in the team. I added formulas in the excel and had my team send the status to all. I have my team change to present on our dept meetings so they get some visibility. This is going on for over a year now. Is this level of support too much??

It may be for some team members. Situational leadership suggests that a manager adapts how much support is offered depending on the needs of the team member. It sounds like you’ve offered good support and you must now assess how each team member is applying their learning and what their current needs are. With some team members, they’ll need very little help while others might still be struggling.
