Hello lovely parents, I have worked as a clinical data manager on/off and after a 10 year break it's time to go back. Sounds silly but i haven't got the foggiest idea where to start. My CV is awful. I could do with some advice. Also i don't find my old career interesting or exciting. Perhaps a totally new direction is needed.😊

I have zero idea what your job entailed, but I work in FE and love it although pay is not great, there are all sorts of data jobs, lots of personal development opportunities and support, I teach but there are so many other opportunities have a look maybe?

You could have a look in the charity sector, there is a site called good moves. You have NHS and data experience, both of which could be useful. Salaries are low but means they are more likely to take a chance on an applicant with relevant experience and a career gap.
