Hello!

I'm in my last year of BSc Medical Sciences Degree and still wondering what career path to go down (been wondering since 1st year!). Ideally something working from home part time would be great so I can do school pick up's and drop off's. I have 8 years working in a community pharmacy if that helps? Im just wondering if anyone knows of any careers that tick these boxes or if I would need a Masters degree ?

TIA x

Possibly in clinical trials? My teams have a hybrid set up. Whatever you do you'll need to work your way up, perhaps see if there are any companies or universities in your area where these types of jobs are. You can also check out jobs.ac.uk for university jobs, I think you can select hybrid or home working
Good luck!

I was about to say clinical trials too. I work for a large contract research organisation (CRO) and there are loads of different avenues to explore with a biomedical BSc. I've worked from home for 9 of my 10 years in the industry and have flexible hours. You could have a look through some of the job pages of the big CROs (PPD, ICON, IQVIA, PAREXEL etc) to see if something takes your fancy. 😊

Thank you @FloofPaws & @CakesAndKettlebells . I will definitely look into clinical trial's, it also seems super interesting which is great! Thank you for the suggestions its much appreciated :)

Maybe something around scientific / medical publishing? I'm not sure what level of work there is post COVID / with AI.

Thank you @MabelMaybe I did look into medical writer however most roles require a Masters or PHD and yes AI is changing a lot of things ! Thanks again.
