Job offer withdrawn?

I'll get straight to it I've been working in the NHS fresh out of Uni since the pandemic. I recently applied for and was made an offer for a role. I went through all the checks and the offer was made unconditional, we agreed on a start date and my contract was sent to me. Out of curiosity this evening I went on Trac to see if anything had change only to be meet with red unsuccessful for this role and now I am very confused and honestly a little stressed as I have given in my notice and already made plans around this new role. Since I can't email or call till the morning, I wanted to see if anyone has experienced this or anything similar or even hear of anything like this.

I would think that’s an admin error. Try not to worry and double check it all in the morning!

Long time ago now but similar happened to me with the NHS. The person I was replacing was pregnant and sadly lost the baby so didn’t leave. I had handed in my notice but was able to withdraw it and stay in my existing post. Is this a possibility in worst case scenario?

As PP says it may be an admin error though as I would have expected some direct communication from them prior to updating TRAC.

Hope it works out.

Sounds highly unlikely to be a true withdrawal - but you’ll only find out when you are able to ring. I’d try do something nice/different for the next hour or so to take your mind off it and then get in the phone (rather than email)

@Pepperamathey’ve probably managed to take their mind of it in the last 6 months!

@LightCameraBitchSmile oops indeed 🤣
