I can't really go into the ins and outs but in the last few months my job role has been changed without any sort of consultation. The change is handled diabolically and I received and apology for this and I was reassured this wasn't a long term change, but guess what....things change and again without any consultation. I've just had to accept it and get on with it.
It's made me feel sad, but by no means am I bashing the role on reception. I run it on my own and it is a bloody hard job but everything I felt passionate about and wanted to pursue now feels blocked as I am on Reception and am literally like an octopus juggling everything on my own.
I guess I'm asking is there progression from receptionist. I don't feel valued and it's making me feel really sad that I'm working my arse off to never get any where
