NHS redundancy

Hi. On a Facebook group someone mentioned the NHS try as hard as possible never to make people redundant- but will redeploy into Lower bands . Does anyone have any experience of either of these scenarios ? Thanks very much

Usually redeployment and it can be to lower grade but you'd probably be on a protected salary.
This happened to one of my colleagues and her salary was protected for, I think, 3 years.
