Redundant

Feeling very down, just been made redundant in my marketing role!

Quickly put together this website to try and get some freelance work.
If anyone has the time to give me some feedback I would be so grateful.

Still in the early stages, but hoping to use my redundancy as an opportunity.

Sorry to hear about your redundancy, I've been through it twice on a voluntary basis.
Firstly, does your company offer any retraining and/or counselling as part of their outplacement package? Ask if you don't know and take them up on it .
It's also worth having an appointment with your local careers service even if you plan to be self-employed. Ask what help is available for start-ups.
Your website - it's a good start. I don't love the monochrome though - if your USP is approachable as well as efficient, I personally think some colour would help although I can see that you want to keep it professional.
On the homepage, the first paragraph is too wordy - run it through ChatGPT to cut it down.
Decide of you're 'we' or 'I' and keep that consistent. It sounds like 'I' to me
it needs a professional-standard photo of you on the front page.
Can you give examples/testimonials from people you've already worked for?
Link to your LinkedIn and post there a few times a week, engaging and growing your ideal client base.
One final thing, do you really need to emphasise Hertfordshire? Your clients could be anywhere if you're virtual.
Hope some of that helps - good luck!
