Wfh fulltime ? Yes or no

I've just been offered two jobs same pay as I'm on now for working full-time in the office , which is like sitting in a fishbowl full of germs and coughing. Some nice people and easy ish work as I've been there a long time.

Jobs are Similar kind of company and benefits:
One is wfh full-time two days a
Month eating pizza in the office and catching up.
The other is wfh , with office on a Wednesday.

Would I be mad in this climate to take a new job with a probation period , when I could quite easily just stay where I am forever.

How do people find wfh full-time ? Good or a novelty that wears off ?

I think it depends on the person to be honest. I had to wfh full time during Covid and for basically a year afterwards (company restrictions on offices) and I hated it. I do basically 50/50 now and much prefer that mix, being at home all day every day was awful for me mentally, socially, physically, I wouldn’t want to do it full time ever again. Hybrid is a good mix because I have 2 days a week at home which is lovely, 2/3 days in the office to get out of the house, change of scenery, see and talk to people, put actual clothes on, get in the car and get a coffee etc! Everyone is different though, I have a colleague who loved being full time WFH and actively keeps trying to get assigned a full time WFH contract.

Yeah that's what I'm scared of that I will hate it, but there is no middle ground , I either stay as I am full-time in the office everyday or full-time at home or one day in office: I don't want to regret my choices.

I found it a little isolating at first but having occasional days in the office sounds good. I live at home with teen DD and it's quite easy for me to not leave the house or really talk to anyone else face to face now for a week at a time so make sure you build in some sort of routine. I could go in the office but my team are dispersed so there's no point as I'd be on Teams all day anyway.

I like WFH, I like being able to manage my own time and get house chores done in the morning and throughout the day, and happy to work later in the evening. But I work fully Flexi and as long as I do my 7.4 hours at some point between 7am and 7pm everyone's happy it's a bit different if it's a call centre and you are tracked strictly.

For me it's better period wise too, I can deal with that and accompanying side effects better being at home.

It depends on the person. I enjoy company and it actually breaks up the week going in to the office. Sometimes though I can't be bothered and it's an effort etc. especially as the cold weather and dark mornings are setting in. A Wednesday is a great day to break up the week too!

In the other hand for me personally with young kids I'd probably still choose the wfh permanent because u still get to go the office a few times a month and get pizza and catch up with everyone 😁 It's so flexible to be at home, can put a wash on etc. Nip out to school things or pick the kids up quickly if they are sick. I would rejoin the gym and go a few times on my lunch break. I used to do that when I worked 3 days and kids were at nursery.

The second job with Wednesdays in the office sounds good to me

I personally prefer 2 days a week in the office but with flexibility to do less if needed.

Thank you to you all, I am swayed with the wfh , just don't want to feel isolated as it's just me and my teenager at home.
Just need to decide between the two now .

I do hybrid and I like it. WFH full time I did feel isolated, I would not WFH if someone was monitoring my every move though, I would prefer to be in an office to that.
