New job

I am 3 weeks into a new job of which I have come in at a fairly senior level. My instincts are starting to flag a few things up. I know that there was a little debate internally about this role being created among other staff so that’s the first thing that’s a little off putting. While everyone I have spoken to is nice (and professional) the scope of the org is very large. While I have worked in this sector before at times I am questioning myself. For example terms and phrases get used which I can honestly say I have never come across before and have to look them up. Due to level I have come in at I feel I am not going to see parts of the business which would strongly help me understand how everything works together. I know it’s early days but part of me is questioning is it worth it
