Last year I was been brought in this new role where I was required to run a project. This project was hard to run but I ran it well. I was enjoying the role and wasn't expecting that high visibility and recognition but I did get high praises. The project is at the end now and what I'm noticing is my counter parts are hesitant for me to take on new tasks. They keep taking on those tasks by themselves or let me know when they have started on tasks. How do I tackle this? I have a new manager now and I do not want to go to her already with complains.

I think you can tackle it positively with a conversation with your manager about you being happy with the success of the project, ask if there has been any feedback on her performance and state clearly that you are ready for your next project and if she can support that. Doesn't need to be a negative conversation.
