I've been at my current job for 2 years in Decemeber and to be frank I hate it. Recently, I applied for a job through an agency which I didn't get but they did put me forward for the same role I do now with a different company, I had an interview on Friday and was offered the job the same afternoon. I did tell the agency about an interview I have this week and they told me to have a think over the weekend, however they have just emailed asking for my decision as they need to let the company know today. The job is slightly more money with a better commute but longer hours and 2 Saturdays a month. Another downside is that my office closes over Christmas bit this one doesn't.
The other job is a different role, I think it matches my longer term career aims well and is more money but a longer commute.
I'm really not sure on what to do. Ideally I'd quite like to have heard back from both jobs before making a decision but that's not possible, of course I might not be offered the other job. Part of me wants to turn down the offer and withdraw from the interview, and look for new jobs in the new year when I'm hopefully less stressed. Does anyone have any words of wisdom? I've spent so much time thinking about it since Friday but I'm still none the wiser on what to do!
