Hiya guys my son has just turned 3 and UC have scheduled me in for a work commitment appointment, he goes to pre school 4 days a week for 3 hours a time and I have just found out I am pregnant ( currently 9 weeks) I am reading online I have to look for a job up until 29 weeks is that correct? Just worried about finding a job with the little amount of time I have while my son is at nursery as I don’t drive and have to walk there and back so really could only work for 2 hours. this all sounds very stressful to me while only being in my first trimester. I was planning to go back to work before I found out I was pregnant but now I don’t know what to do, it just doesn’t seem doable for me.

Any ideas on what will come about in my appointment thanks xx

You'll be expected to look for pretty well full time work and put your son into childcare.
You will be expected to take any job within 90 minutes journey of your home
If you can get a job which earns more than £900 a month you will be left alone by the jobcentre. Otherwise, they will keep bringing you in for meetings and enrolling you in schemes to try to get you into work

Pretty much as the previous poster said. You can get funding for childcare can't you? What do other parents do? Can you do agency work for 20 weeks? What is your work background?
