Is 5 interviews in 7 weeks ok? I'm just wandering if I'm coming across ok think I've applied for about 25 jobs in the last few months and waiting to hear back from about 15 as they haven't closed or only just closed x

I'm not sure anyone can answer that - surely it depends on whether your skill sets are matching what you're applying to and the industry you're in?

Out of interest why do you think skill set or industry changes things? I would've thought stats are stats. Happy to hear your point of view though incase I'm missing something :)

Industry matters as there are fewer jobs in some industries at the moment. Mine was decimated after Brexshit, so I would be happy to have had more than 1 interview despite many applications for jobs I match perfectly for. Employers have so many candidates these days that they can be very choosy. Also, employment agents, in my experience, are lazy and only put forward the first few applications they receive.

If you are in an industry where there is still demand, then you'll probably be OK.

I've ended up doing something completely different, which ironically is much more enjoyable.

@HappiestSleeping
I don't use recruiters and my industry has become busier I think. As it does most years I guess. Thanks for your pov its helpful

I'm glad you found something even better that you enjoy more that's really amazing and inspirational tbh
