A senior colleague keeps talking about my weight

She says it in front of others and seems to forget that she asked similar questions about my weight a few weeks back.Today my other colleagues just stood there and didn't say anything
I was too shocked to speak.

This is inappropriate - have you told your line manager about it?

MounjaroUser · 08/10/2024 18:30

That's terrible. Really unfriendly and unprofessional.

Boohbooh · 08/10/2024 18:30

Unacceptable! Complain.

MounjaroUser · 08/10/2024 18:36

What has she said?

ahemfem · 08/10/2024 18:37

Are you in a job where your weight matters? Eg. Boxer?

Patienceinshortsupply · 08/10/2024 18:38

Next time, look her straight in the eye and say "you commenting on my weight doesn't help me, in fact it does the exact opposite. It's really not wanted". And keep staring. You're not being anywhere near as rude as she is, but it makes it clear that you've drawn a line.

Goody2ShoesAndTheFilthyBeast · 08/10/2024 18:39

can you say to her, please don't comment on my weight, it's not appropriate

Scottishday · 08/10/2024 18:40

Definitely call her out.

Sorry Angela but I'm finding your comments about my weight quite tiresome and inappropriate. Would you mind keeping your thoughts to yourself?

Cosycover · 08/10/2024 18:49

What is she saying?

Is she asking how you're so skinny?

People seem to think they can get away with that.

I'd just tell her to stop. Infront of everyone.

Laszlomydarling · 08/10/2024 19:38

Difficult to understand without knowing the words and context.

Bananalanacake · 08/10/2024 19:57

Why don't you talk about her terrible fashion sense.
