Following on from a previous thread if anyone is able to read:

Leaving a job whilst pregnant www.mumsnet.com/Talk/work/5153104-leaving-a-job-whilst-pregnant

I've been signed off by the GP for the last 5 weeks, fit note due to run out next week. I've been signed off with pregnancy related symptoms. I believe I'm suffering with sciatica or PGP. I'm regularly only sleeping 3 hours a night due to waking up in pain and I'm exhausted, cannot stand/sit/walk for long periods, the MAU have said all normal and to take paracetamol.

Does this sound like PGP/SPD or sciatica? Previous thread

Received an invitation today to a remote welfare meeting with my employer for less than 24 hours time. They've stated they may request a medical report from my GP and want to discuss any measures that I am taking to make a recovery.

The role itself is now high stress, regularly being sworn at over the phone which was making me anxious & I know I would be unable to commit to the commute 5 days a week with my hip pain.

Am I best to attend & explain this to my employer?
