Ladies does anybody have any idea how being an employee and then working a few hours self employed works.
I have just accepted a little cleaning job between 15 and 20 hours a week while SEN daughter is at school but I have seen lots of 'cam' models saying how flexible it is but not a set income. Does anybody have any background in to how this would work?

I'm a bit confused, you have a regular job and will be doing self employed on top?

Eithe rway, if you're self employed entirely or half employed and half self employed, you'll need to charge a fee and then claim this new income in the form of a self assessment at the end of the year.

Thank you, yes I'm half and half. I just wasn't sure how it would go with the likes of universal credit and tax

Oh, that is challenging and I'm not sure I'm afraid. Isn't UC assessed monthly? In which case, I'd see if there's anything on the website about that?
