Returning to work after maternity.

Hi.
Next month i am returning to work after 39 weeks off of maternity leave. I work in a pub so it's all zero hour contracts. Before going on maternity i was working 40/50 hours a week - and now they say they've hired new people and might only get 6 hours per week. Is there anything I can do about this, I know i have the right to return to the same job- but how does the 0 hour contract affect this?

The zero hour contract puts this on unstable ground because by nature there are no guaranteed hours OP.

Because I don't know the depth of your circumstances prior to MAT leave it's hard to answer but I'd have a read on here.
