Being left out/ people off with me at work

My boss is under performance review. He's not great can't manage, lazy.

He's very intelligent and it's genuinely a shame he is so lazy because he is wasting him self. He is fed up but I'm very passionate about my career.

I'm finding out he's deliberately leaving me out of every thing. All of a sudden I'm being push out of stuff. No nothing of what's going on. And I'm even finding people are being off with me.

I asked him on the leaving me out and taking over all my work he give me a sob story as an excuse but did apologise.

How do I handle this. It's bullying. Then he's over the top nice with me. 😔 I know I shouldn't let him get to me but I'm seriously stressed about it all

He sounds insecure (probably because of his own performance). Watch out for him also taking credit for your ideas while at the same time bad-mouthing you.

People like this make for a toxic work environment.

Can you speak to his boss?

Yes he's been taking credit for every thing, his boss is aware. But said I would need to go to HR I don't feel comfortable. It's so toxic. We could of worked really well together but instead he's turned so nasty

He hasn't suddenly turned nasty, he is nasty and has been for a while from what you say. He's a lazy man who takes credit for your work - that's nasty - and when you flag this, freezes you out to punish you - that's nasty too. Take it to HR and build your own career, don't prop up a lazy bloke who's earning more than you on the back of you covering for his incompetence.

Thank you, some good news he's handed his notice in. Only thing is today hes being nauseatingly nice.

Working hard going to apply for his job. I was doing most of it any way.

You're right he hasn't just turned nasty that is him.
