I don’t know what to do, the last couple months in my work has just been so stressful and just different.
I am a manager of a department which is separate from the place we work in. My managers are great. Etc
I have to work and correspondence with the place I work in which is separate from my department.
I used to work for the separate part at a lower job just to get extra money but I ended the job and didn’t renew the contract. I have 2 of my staff still working within that part as well. The business manager which is responsible for this area has been really unprofessional and rude to me the other day and really spoke to me like crap in front of my staff about the job I ended in that area.
within the current area I am in I am the manager but I have contact with the other part and since then it’s getting more and more picky, and it’s like they are making more work than we have ever done.
I love the team I work with it’s a small team, but it’s the outside part with who I have to correspond with which is making my life stressful.
I have seen another manager job with my company but in a different place. I put the application in yesterday and my manager called me today and asked if I can go for an interview tomorrow for this new place. Only problem is it’s less money about 4k less but time I work out tax and insurance. Also this new place is literally walking distance from my house so I would have no travel costs which is costing around 260-300 a month. So with working all that out I would be better off.
also I had a phone call for an interview for a general manager of completely something new which is also tomorrow. And is more money than what I am on now, but I still have the same travel costs 260-300
i just don’t know what to do
stay at my place, love my team. But it’s the place I am working with and I can see them being difficult more and more
if I get the job at my company, near my house but pay cut
or if I get a new general manager job go for that
any ideas what to do?
