Hi
have got to 3 rd stage interviews with 2 companies. I have a non compete which one company was keen for me to share but I think it will be an issue (ie not working in similar company for up to 6 months). They’ve said they’ll make a decision in a couple of weeks! Seem then ad promoted again on linked in. Is the company hedging their bets? Hr said they hadn’t had many applications that had gone to full interviews but it seems they must have a slight doubt - not been rejected tho!

the other one I had my last interview with the millions of people I was interviewed by on Monday. No news yet! I think there is another stage of that with a presentation etc!

nothing else in the offing yet!

Oh good luck 🙂 Will keep everything crossed.
I had an interview lined up today, a job I really wanted. It's a bit of a step back and lower paid, but I ended up giving myself a migraine to the point where I was sick, due to stress at work. I suffer with chronic stress migraines and im on medication for it. I let the company know that I was poorly and couldn't make my interview. They messaged back and thanked me for letting them know. I've since messaged back, hoping for another day and time to interview. Not sure if I've burnt my bridges now though. Just my luck. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Well surely they have readvertised because, as you have a non-compete clause, they are concerned that if they offer you the role they are leaving themselves (and you!) open to a messy legal situation with your old company. They need some certainty that you will be able to take up the role. It's not clear from your post if you actually shared the clause with them, and if you yourself think it may be an issue then I'm sure your existing employer will think so too!

They came back wanting to see the non compete but will not get back for 2 weeks or so
