Question for any civil service managers please?
I've been getting HRA for 2.5 months as my manager is off sick
My question - guidance states if it goes to 3 months it should be changed to TCA.
I have been told I will carry on with HRA during my managers phased return. This will take me over 3 months on HRA.
Will they have to change it if it goes over?
Or is it discretionary if it was only a couple of weeks over?
I ask because the TCA is worth a lot more money and also it would be a minimum of 3 months they have to pay me once I am on it.
What if it went over and they don't offer it - have I got a case to push it?
