Hate new job. Don't want to go back.

I started a new job this week and I absolutely hate it. I haven't got a proper work station, there was no preparation done prior to my arrival, it all feels so unprofessional and that noone gives a shit. I couldn't sleep a wink last night as I was so anxious at the thought of going in oday. I've made a big mistake and don't want to go back. I feel sick with dread. I'm a single mum though and don't have a partners income to rely on. I know I have to go back as it'll just be really hard to get a job when I don't have one and I won't be able to claim job seekers allowance for weeks. How am I going to get through this. Does anyone have any advice please? Thank you.

I would start looking for something else. If you know it’s not for you you know . It might feel better if you’re actively looking for something else. X

Thank you all so much for your advice. I'm going to stick with it and keep applying for jobs in the meantime. The job market seems very slow at the moment. I've applied for loads of jobs through Indeed and most of the time don't get a reply.

How’s the job going now? Did you settle in?
