Hello
I am currently in a temporary admin role in the NHS. I am a clinician and I also have a working history and number of qualifications from the arts sector...before becoming an NHS HCP.
I have a big family and ended up moving from arts to healthcare so that I could feed and house them!
When we got to kid no 3&4 shift work became hard. I did work in agency roles and then stopped working for a year as the sums didn't work with childcare etc. During this period I started coaching and have earned a few pennies. I then most recently took on the admin role.
I feel like I can now get back to earning and I really would like to do something I enjoy.
I am filling out an application for an arts and wellbeing role. It is much better paid than my admin role. I meet some of the essential skills (like 5 out of 15!) in my current admin role. So now I'm staring to feel deflated and lose confidence. I have the skills form older roles if mine but I'm concerned that this will be overlooked? After all the title of my current job is not very inspiring.
If anyone has any tips on this I would appreciate it! Also is it even worth mentioning the coaching work?
Thank you.
