JP Morgan Maternity

I'm currently looking for a job whilst in the early stages of pregnancy and thought I'd seen JPM give maternity benefits regardless of how long one has been there.

Is anyone able to check the policy and let me know please

And your intention would be to accept a job (if offered) and then declare the pregnancy afterwards?

That's correct

Nothing wrong with that at all.

What benefits are you talking about?

You are entitled to 52 weeks maternity leave, regardless of when you start. That’s any job.

or are you talking enhanced benefits?

also what country are you in?

Their 2023 gender pay gay report says all employees are eligible for 26 weeks pay.

Are you asking employees to potentially breach their confidentiality obligations with respect to internal policies?
Have you tried googling for publicly available relevant information?

It's perfectly fine to ask. It's proven to be detrimental to women's careers that companies don't disclose maternity benefits. It's not commercially confidential, no one from JP Morgan is going to get sacked for answering the question.

Nice to see the sisterhood is alive and well Hmm

Thank you so much for this. I've been looking for jobs whilst being made redundant at the most inconvenient time. I saw somewhere that JPM pays maternity regardless how long you've worked there. I myself worked there yrs ago and it's a fab place to work. I don't know anyone there who I can ask without disclosing my pregnancy.

Take a look at Glassdoor in benefits tab, there might be some info there.
There is high chance they will have enhanced maternity pay, most banks do ie. Barclays (that was written on their recruitment website before they moved into workday platform).

Are you in the recruitment process yet? It takes about a month to go through all interviews, not mention the CV screening stage.
