Hi all, wasn’t sure whether to put this here or on the academics board but thought I’d try here first. I’ve applied and been offered an interview for a position as an associate tutor at a local university. It’s a sessional job rather than a permanent position but I thought it would be a good first step into academia.
The thing is, this is literally a first step. I’d never applied for a job in this area before and I have no idea what to expect from the job interview. Can anyone share any info about how these interviews normally go, what sort of questions to expect? I do have to prepare a presentation for it. Interview will be on Teams rather than in person.
