I've worked for the same company for 12 years. In March 2022 I took on a new role and have a job description for this role.
The job I am doing, is quite different, as we lost one contract and others have not been as busy. So the team that I should be managing doesn't exist now really and the tasks are not the same. To be honest, someone with much less experience could be doing the work I am actually doing.
Would this be grounds for me to ask for redundancy? Is that even an option? saying that the job doesn't match what I was brought in to do? Or would I just need to find a new job and leave?
