Workplace harassment

Spoke to a colleague at work. They feel I’m being harassed at work and feel I should
put an HR ticket. It’s not obvious harassment but a new boss setting unrealistic expectations and picking up on everything you haven’t done (when they are barely doing their own job well). Has anyone had any experience of this?

Can you give some examples of the 'harrassment'?

Unrealistic tasks and deadlines, being told not to take on tasks I shouldn’t then being forced to, a person being asked to raise any concerns direct to my manager, being told everything is a priority and then the one thing I’ve not done being raised, being told I’m needing to be chased on everything when all the team are being chased etc. lots of emails trying to catch me out

You're being bullied. Collect evidence of what the boss is doing eg emails and make a note of conversations including witnesses. Contact ACAS or your union on how to proceed.

My advice is to either move to a different department or get another job.

Are they saying this out of concern for you or to make waves?
