Buying annual leave NHS but leaving the trust

Hello,
can anyone advise? I work in the NHS and currently off with MI. I bought annual leave about 2 months ago, 10 days. But I have secured another role in a different trust. I have spoken to my employer and I have requested that I could use my accrued annual leave for my notice period which that have accepted. But what about the leave that I purchased and haven’t used? I can’t get through to HR and we are unsure whether this can be given back as it’s not used or what happens with it? Any advice would be great!
thank you

Purchased leave gets used first.

But only as much as you’ve paid for.
