The hours and pay are better but the politics are awful already. I escaped my laat nhs job as couldn't cope with the politics and this place has rough politics but better hours.
On my last working day there was school girl behaviour...giggling and gossiping about certain colleagues and I am yrying to learn new skills but I wasn't invited to join in ...i had to really muscle in to get any experience.
The manager is lovely but I do feel low...I have probably upset people already.

I’ve recently started a new job and I’m also feeling a bit down. No school playground behaviour like yours but a lot of chaos and a lot workload dumped on me with no support. I’m hoping things will calm down or get better once I know how things work.
I also worry that I haven’t given the best impression. As the weeks have gone on I’ve become more stressed and so haven’t always been too enthusiastic when people dump more and more work on me at short notice.
i can’t really advise. Just maybe focus on your relationship with your manager, stay away from the politics and raise it with your manager if you’re not getting the training you need. Good luck!
